  • Promoter

    The Promoter is AAPC Singapore Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore whose registered office is located at 1 Wallich Street, #17-01 Guoco Tower, Singapore 078881.

  • Eligibility

    1. By participating in the Promotion, participants shall be deemed to have accepted and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, the prize(s) will be provided in accordance with and subject to these terms and conditions.

    2. This offer is available to members of Le Club AccorHotels (“LCAH”) who are residing in the following ASPAC countries: China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, India, Vietnam, Myanmar; and who are
    (i) primary cardholders of a MasterCard; and
    (ii) of minimum 21 years;
    For the avoidance of doubt, the following persons are not eligible to participate to the offer:
    (i) Employees of the Promoter, Accor Hotels worldwide or their subsidiaries, and their immediate family members; and
    (ii) Employees of any agencies associated with the offer.
    (iii) THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW AND OUTSIDE of China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, India, Vietnam, Myanmar.
    3. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

  • Promotion Period

    The Promotion commences 9.00 am, Tuesday 17th January 2017 (Singapore time) and closes on 6.00 pm on Thursday 11th May 2017 – Singapore time (“Promotional Period”). Promotional Period may be extended at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

  • How to Participate

    1. To enter, LCAH members are required to:
    a. Form a team of minimum two and maximum of four team members (“Participant”),
    b. Make a minimum of one eligible hotel stay with any ASPAC AccorHotels hotel between 17th January 2017 and 11th May 2017. Each stay will be verified with AccorHotels to check eligibility.
    c. Pay all their eligible AccorHotels hotels stays using a Mastercard.
    d. Participate in all five “Campaign Challenges” and gain the highest number of points to win. Full details can be found at https://www.theultimaterivals.com/ (“Promotion Website”).
    The five Campaign Challenges are;
    (i) Play a skill based game
    (ii) Answer all set Trivia questions correctly
    (iii) Book and Stay with an ASPAC AccorHotels hotel during the Promotional Period
    (iv) Pay for your ASPAC AccorHotels stay with Mastercard
    (v) Share your Campaign Challenge with friends

  • To Win

    1. Weekly Prizes: the Team who scored the highest number of points within the week will win that weeks prize; Grand Prize; The Team who scored the highest number of points overall will win the Grand prize. Teams points are cumulative throughout the Promotion Period.

    3. Participant can only be part of 1 team. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter upon receipt.

    4. Each entry must:
    (a) consist of a fully completed online entry, with particulars clearly and legibly filled out;
    (b) not include any content that is false, untrue and/or inaccurate;
    (c) be entirely the original work of the Participant submitting the entry;
    (d) not contain, promote, incite or instruct any dangerous conduct, or commission of any crime or acts of violence;
    (e) not contain any inappropriate, defamatory, discriminatory, demeaning, offensive, obscene, indecent, sexually explicit or blasphemous material
    (f) not contain the personal information of any person other than that of the Participant submitting the entry;
    (g) not contain any material or content, including but not limited to images, words, music, lyrics, recordings etc. which may breach the intellectual property rights of any third party;
    (h) not breach any relevant laws.


  • Stay Criteria

    A “stay" or "qualifying stay" means all consecutive nights a Le Club AccorHotels member, residing in Asia Pacific, books and personally pays and stays at any participating Asia Pacific AccorHotels hotels, including Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis, Ibis Styles, Ibis Budget, Pullman, Mecure, Grand Mecure, No Brand managed by AccorHotels, The Sebel, MGallery, Formule 1, Fairmont, Swissotel, Raffles.

    Qualifying stays can:
    (a) Be booked during the campaign duration, and the stay fulfilled within the campaign duration
    (b) Be booked via AccorHotels distribution channels (AccorHotels Internet sites, AccorHotels reservation centre, hotels) and traditional travel agencies using a GDS (Global Distribution System) connected automatically to the AccorHotels reservation centre
    A stay comprises of a minimum of one night, is booked and paid with a Mastercard, and has a virtual document summarizing the services reserved by the customer on the Internet (possibly stating the customer's Mastercard number in the context of a prepayment or guarantee. Acceptance of the reservation confirmation by the customer constitutes a contractual commitment.)

    Only stays booked at eligible rates via AccorHotels distribution channels (AccorHotels Internet sites, AccorHotels reservation centre, hotels) and traditional travel agencies using a GDS (Global Distribution System) connected automatically to the AccorHotels reservation centre, entitle the Member to earn Points. Eligible stays therefore do not include: stays booked via a reseller, tour operator or third-party on-line travel agent (such as Expedia.com, Booking.com, etc.).

  • Point System

      Points are earned for a range of Campaign Challenges; from Completing Skill Games for 1 point through to submitting your Hotel stay for 500 points. Earn the most number of points each week to win the Weekly Prizes. Or earn the most number of accumulated points overall to win the Grand Prize.

  • Prizes

    1. The prize(s) for this Promotion are:
    (a) There will be 1 Grand Prize winner and 10 weekly prize winners selected (1 winning team per week, maximum 4 players).
    (b) The Grand Prize is a 5 day / 4 night trip for all members of the LCAH winning team to Cardiff, Wales. The prize includes return economy flights from the closest capital city in which the winning team members live to Cardiff, Wales, 4 nights accommodation at a AccorHotels hotel, in Cardiff. Tickets for all winning team members to The UEFA Champions League Final held in Cardiff, Wales on 3rd June 2017.
    (c) The Weekly Prizes are 1 x UEFA Football per Individual Player or up to a maximum of 4 Footballs per week per Team (one for each member of the winning Team).
    2. Winners may claim prize conditional upon the following:
    (a) production of original receipt or other proof of purchase of an eligible product – such documentation must clearly specify that an eligible product was purchased during the Promotional Period but prior to submission of the entry;
    (b) winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate, without remuneration, in all promotional activity (such as photography, filming and/or publicity events) surrounding the winning of any prize.
    (c) winners shall forfeit any components of the prize(s) that remain unclaimed, for any reason, within the time period stipulated by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
    (d) winners must, at the Promoter’s request, participate, without remuneration, in all promotional activity (such as photography, filming and/or publicity events) surrounding the use of or participation in the travel component of the prize(s).
    (e) winners consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media globally and in perpetuity without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome thereof), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. Winner and travel companion acknowledge and agree that the Promoter has the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, promote, and otherwise use the promotional materials created, including videos and photographs, to produce public relations materials, magazine printed ads, editorials, marketing tools and other printed matters, including materials for the Promoter’s website and/or website of any of its affiliates. Winner and travel companion shall not have any claim nor be entitled to, any payment for the use, publishing or broadcasting the promotional and/or public relations materials created. Furthermore all rights, title and interest in and to the abovementioned promotional and/or public relations materials, including all intellectual property rights and moral rights thereto, shall be the property of the Promoter.
    (f) winners further agree, at the Promoter’s request, to execute and any all documents to give effect to the terms and conditions, including but not limited to documents in relation to the claim and receipt of prize(s), consents, authorisations, releases, waivers or indemnities for participation in prize components, and intellectual property rights and moral rights.
    3. The Weekly prize winners will be announced each week commencing on 22 February 2017 through to 26 April 2017. The Weekly winners will be notified via Email at the address of original Registration. The Weekly winners will have 14 days from the Notification Date to come forward to claim their prize, during which period the Promoter and/or its agency shall attempt to make contact with the prize winner at least 3 times during normal working hours on normal business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).

    4. The Grand prize winner will be announced by Friday 19th May 2017. The Grand Prize winner will be notified via Email at the address of original Registration by 16th May 2017. The Grand prize winner will have 14 days from the above date to come forward to claim their prize, during which period the Promoter and/or its agency shall attempt to make contact with the prize winner at least 3 times during normal working hours on normal business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).

    5. The Promoter and/or its agency may select additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible participant is selected.

    6. The Promoter and/or its agency may require the prize winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and/or proof of residency as a condition for claim of prize(s). Identification considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter and/or its agency. The prize(s) will be awarded only to the winner and not to proxies or representatives of the winner.

    7. Winner acknowledge(s) that some components of the prize(s) may involve in dangerous activities in relation to which participation may carry inherent risks. By entering this Promotion and accepting the prize, winner accept(s) and assume(s) such risks.

    8. Grand Prize Winners must travel and return at the same time. The travel component of the prize must be taken in time for the UEFA Champions League Final in Cardiff, Wales, held on 3rd June 2017 and on specific days determined by the Promoter. The prize cannot be taken during any other periods as specified by the Promoter and/or the prize provider.

    9. The travel component of the prize includes return economy airfares (including airfare taxes) on the designated airline for the winner from the winner’s nearest capital city; up to 4 nights’ accommodation (on a twin share basis) in the designated hotel(s) as specified by the Promoter and/or prize provider. Flights, accommodation and any activities are subject to booking and availability. The travel component of the prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions as may be specified by the prize provider.

    10. Winner is responsible for making their own way to the winners nearest capital city airport for departure. The winner is responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport that expires no less than 6 months after the date of return to the country of residence. Any and all other documentation and requirements for travel including but not limited to visas shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. The Promoter shall not be responsible in the event that the winner is prevented from travelling to the destination country by customs, immigration, embassy or other authority, and the Promoter shall not be liable to return or exchange the prize or any part thereof for cash or any alternative prize(s).

    11. Any changes made to travel plans once booked shall be funded by the winner. If the winner is unable to travel on the date booked and are unable to make any changes at their own expense, the winner will be deemed to have automatically forfeited the prize. The Promoter will not pay for any leave from employment that may be necessary for travel.

    12. All other costs associated with the prize, including but not limited to any transfer costs, meals, expenses, spending money, taxes, insurance and other ancillary costs are the sole responsibility of the winner as incurred.

    13. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stated.

    14. Prize(s) may be issued up to 30 days from the notification of the winner(s). The Promoter shall not be liable for any damage to, or delay in delivery or transit of, the prize(s).

    If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, or if the Promotion is cancelled or postponed for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification, subject to written directions from any regulatory authority.

  • Others

    1. The Promoter is not responsible for:
    (a) late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or illegible entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, theft, destruction or otherwise;
    (b) receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information whether provided by a Participant or otherwise; or
    (c) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any damage to property or injury to related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or materials for this Promotion.
    2. The Promoter reserves the right to, in its sole discretion:
    (a) disqualify any entry that the Promoter has any reason to believe does not comply with the terms and conditions;
    (b) verify the validity of all entries and Participants (including identity, age and place of residence) as it deems necessary;
    (c) disqualify any Participant and all of the Participant’s entries for tampering or interfering with or disrupting the Promotion, entry process and/or breaching the terms and conditions; and/or
    (d) cancel the prize(s) or otherwise cease to provide any benefit of the prize(s) if the winner(s) (or travel companion(s), if applicable) is/are, in the opinion of the Promoter, under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behave(s) in an aggressive, offensive, uncontrollable, unruly or disorderly manner, engages or attempts to engage in illegal conduct, behave(s) in a manner which may tarnish or diminish the goodwill, name and/or reputation of the Promoter, its brands and/or products concerned, its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion, or behave(s) in a manner which is otherwise inappropriate. The Promoter’s rights (including but not limited to recovery of damages or other compensation) in relation to any misconduct of the Participants are expressly reserved to the fullest extent.
    3. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal information for the purposes of conducting this promotion, including but not limited to, selecting, notifying and publicizing the details and/or personal information of winners pursuant to the terms and conditions. This information may be used for our future marketing and promotional activities. We reserve the right to appoint third parties to conduct this promotion or our future marketing and promotional activities. You agree that we may provide all necessary information to such third parties to facilitate such service. We will not use or divulge your personal information other than for the purposes and to the parties set out above and/or where you have given us written permission to do so, unless we are otherwise required to do so by law. You hereby declare that all information provided by you is true, accurate and complete. Any inaccurate, incomplete or false information given or any omission of information required, may at our discretion, render your entry invalid and we may refuse to accept the entry. You are responsible for informing us if there is any change in any of the details that you have provided to us. You agree to indemnify and absolve us of any liability arising out of any use and/or disclosure by us of any inaccurate or incomplete information due to your failure to update us promptly of any changes to your personal information.

    LCAH Members may write to the Personal Data Privacy Department ("Protection des Données Personnelles"), at the following e-mail address: [email protected], to exercise their legal right to access, modify and/or delete any personal information stored about them subject to processing by LCAH, according to provisions of the French law on Data Protection of January 6, 1978.

    4. The Promoter and/or its agency may refuse to allow a winner to use or take part in any or all aspects of a prize if the Promoter and/or its agency reasonably determines in its sole discretion that the winner is not able to safely do so.

    5. Taxes, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and/or use not specified in these terms and conditions as being provided by the Promoter are the sole responsibility of the winner(s). If required by law, the Promoter and/or its agency reserves the right to withhold and remit to the appropriate tax authorities the amount of any tax or taxes due on the prize. The winner(s) should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winning.

    6. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, directors, officers and employees of the Promoter, its agencies and companies associated with this Promotion are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained in relation to participation in this Promotion or during the course of accepting and/or using any prize.

    7. The Promoter’s decision on all matters is final. The Promoter reserves right to change, amend, add or delete any or all of the terms and conditions, and to offer alternative prizes, at any time and without any prior notice.

    8. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, whether caused by computer viruses, failure of equipment of information technology, line drop out, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by relevant regulatory authorities), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries.

    9. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, natural disaster or other occurrence beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion subject to any written directions from the relevant authorities.

    10. The Promotion is conducted in Singapore and is governed by the laws of Singapore.
